Privacy Policy

Overview
Inpitch is a Chrome extension and web platform that lets you record and send personalised voice notes and videos directly inside LinkedIn messages, and helps you craft AI-powered outreach using prospect intelligence. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account dataWhen you create an account we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We also store your workspace name and subscription status.
- Voice and video recordingsWhen you record a voice note or video pitch, the media file is uploaded to secure cloud storage (Amazon S3) so it can be delivered as a link inside your LinkedIn message. Recordings are associated with your account and the recipient prospect. You can delete your account at any time to remove all stored media.
- LinkedIn profile dataWhen you visit a LinkedIn profile while the extension is active, we read publicly visible information from that page — such as name, headline, current role, company, and experience — to build a prospect profile and power AI suggestions. We do not access your own LinkedIn credentials or private data.
- LinkedIn messagesWith your consent, the extension reads the LinkedIn conversation thread visible on screen to give you context-aware AI suggestions. Message content is stored on our servers to power conversation history and follow-up recommendations.
- Usage and preferencesWe store your in-app preferences (e.g. recording type, AI settings) and usage data such as credit consumption to manage your subscription plan.
How we use your data
- —To deliver the core product — recording, sending, and AI-assisted outreach.
- —To authenticate you and manage your subscription and workspace.
- —To reset your usage credits on a monthly billing cycle.
- —To improve product quality and fix issues (server-side logs, no user tracking).
- —We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Third-party services
We use the following sub-processors to operate the platform. Each is bound by their own privacy and data security policies:
- —Amazon Web Services (S3) — media file storage
- —Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting
- —Vercel — web application hosting and deployment
- —Dodo Payments — subscription billing and payment processing
- —Apify — LinkedIn public profile data enrichment
- —Google Gemini — AI content generation for outreach suggestions
No advertising, behavioural tracking, or analytics SDKs are used inside the Chrome extension.
Data retention and deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your account, prospect data, stored messages, and media files from our systems. Billing records may be retained as required by law.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Media files are stored in private S3 buckets accessible only via time-limited signed URLs.
Children
Inpitch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
